Drilling some holes wouldn't be a bad idea. Never thought about winter ventilation too much. I thought you would want to trap as much heat as possible in.
It is 6 x 6. I thought about leaving soffits open but put a window in the door and on the adjacent side. This is my first time owning chickens/turkeys so I am experiencing a bit of a learning curve. If/when the turkeys begin getting aggressive I will separate them.
Working on my chicken coop. Close to being finished. I have 8 chickens and 4 turkeys in there now! Salvaged what wood I could, and salvaged the roof. I made some plans in AutoCAD and plan to post the finished plans and photos in the coops section when finished.
The original white that had it the worst died yesterday. The other two whites that were having issues seem to be doing okay since I have them separated from the bronzes. Bronzes are doing great. And all the chickens are growing like weeds.
