And we have our first egg!
Our chickens started laying on February 12th. We have 38 chickens, and these are from our Red Stars, Americana/Easter Eggers, and Pearl White Leghorns. WE also have Silver Spangled Hambergs that are also laying. All our chicks were born on September 30th, so these gals are right on schedule...- indigoisland

Chicken's comb is down and tailfeathers down
We have several Production Red hens. About 2 months ago, one of them, now called "Goody", started acting lethargic, wouldn't come out of the coop, sitting on the floor, tailfeathers are low, instead of "upwards" and "bushy", and her comb is bent down.
