Hello. So I have a 2 year old hen who has been going through an extreme molt. I didn't see her yesterday and today when I saw her, she was having a hard time breathing. Her tail was also down and she could barely stand. I seperated her immediately in a small cat crate for overnight until I find...
I ran out of feed yesterday and today I have just been giving them scraps. I probably won't be able to get to Tractor Supply until Monday which is 3 days from now. Can they go 3 more days of just scraps from around the house? If not, I'll have to figure something out to go tomorrow. Thank you in...
Non of her symptoms got any worse so I did nothing. She is still doing fine a year later. So I say unless they show more severe signs (nasal discharge, foaming of the eyes, mucus coming from mouth, etc) than your fine. If it's more than just sneezing an open mouth breathing once and a while than...

I looked into my scratch bag after not using it for a while and saw a TON of these little black bug. Are these bugs safe to feed the chickens? I'm just making sure they won't go into there feathers and are safe for them to eat?
Yes that's exactly how I feel. I love my father but I just wish he understood. I think the best thing I can do is just throw out anything bad he might give them before he gets to it, and just pray nothing bad happens.
