I took your advice and it worked. I cleaned the area on the beak everyday and put Neosporin. As it dried up I just put Neosporin. It fell off after two weeks of drying up. I think it scratched itself on the metal feeder I had. I changed it to plastic so hopefully I have solved the problem...
