Thank you! I'm learning a lot! I will try and be smarter about who I buy my birds from lol. On the other hand, they are gorgeous! I'm going to try and find that baby roo a good home next week. He's super handsome and friendly.

I can sex your pullets and cockerels!

↑ I think this is definitely a cockerel View attachment 1035127 I see shiny green on tail feathers, larger pinkish red comb, and saddle feathers. I think so too. Oh yeah, he's already crowing lol... I wanted to show the difference in the weird combs. Do you think he's an Americauna or an...

I can sex your pullets and cockerels!

Thanks! There're a few in there with the flat comb so maybe I have a few more pullets than I thought. Here's a better pic of the other guy. What do you think of this trio?

I can sex your pullets and cockerels!

Thanks for your help! It's great to have a second pair of eyes on them. They should be around 7 weeks old now. The seller said Americauna but they were on blow-out sale and I didn't see the parents so anything goes, I guess. They sure are pretty though! These pics are a little blurry but I can...

Edited to add: They were sold to me as Ameracaunas. Are they actually Easter Eggers? I have to start rehoming any roosters I can ha ha. Here is one of my more obvious roosters.

Easter Egger Sexing "tips and tricks" *Pictures Included*

Hi there, I was sold some Ameracauna chicks but I'm not sure if they are the real deal or Easter Eggers. They do have the grey/slate legs but I'm not sure how else to tell the difference. I think I have quite a few roosters in the group. There are some that have very flat, wide combs that are...

Another with a flat comb without any definition. No "peas" or nubbins at all. All roosters? Do you think EE or Americauna? Thanks!

There are a few that look like this. They have wide, flat combs with no rows or "peas" at all. Just flat, slightly raised surface.

Hi there, I was sold some Ameracauna chicks. I think I have a ton of roosters in the group and am about to start rehoming them. I want to confirm that they are Ameracaunas and not Easter Eggers and that they are actually roosters before I advertise. ;)
