    thanks for all the words , in the new coop tonight and they wont go up the ramp yet !! it may get in the 50s tonight !! put weather stippung on the ramp for mor grip . figuretheyll figure it out ? its dark and they r chirping loud .. growing fast!! im hooked on these chicks!!

    new chick mom of 2 ight bramas,and 2 slmon avererolle. so cute and tring to get them used to being touched . coop goes together in am and wondering what floor works best here in the heat ??

    Thank for that advice ,have learned a lot on this sight, the coopand run has a roof. to protet from rain . was wondering what to use as floor ? it will be on dirt floor. my light brahamas already love to dust in the dirt , should i put sand in over it or add straw to the floor . read shavings...

    live in merritt island, a new chick mom 1 week now , chicks 4&5 weeks now , putting the coop together tomarrow .. any tips on startingbthe bedding and box ? straw ? shavings? how do they do in the heat??
