    Roo or Pullet

Good Afternoon! I have two, 7 week old chicks that I can’t tell the sex of. One is black/white and the other is multi-colored. Any guesses?

    White leghorn Pullet or Roo

Thank you! She had me worried with the newly developed comb and wattle. The other leghorn I have that’s the same age comb is still small and pink.

Wondering if anyone could help seeing this leghorn. It is 14 week and just developed the comb and wattles.

    Grow out coop destroyed

I’m not sure. No tracks because the ground was frozen. I’ve never had any problems with predators. I live in an urban setting. I’m thinking maybe a dog. I found three of the pullets dead outside on the ground with no marks on them. The other three I never found.

    Grow out coop destroyed

Something got into my grow out coop and got all of my pullets. Learned my lesson on these cheap coops. I have good coop for my flock but use this one as a grow out coop.

The red comb came today! Definitely a cockerel. Hopefully my other California White is a pullet.

Thanks for the reply. I was afraid one was a cockerel but only because of the comb size. I was told leghorns have bright red combs early if they are a male. I believe these are 7 weeks old and the comb is still pink.

Here are updated pictures of mine. Still not sure if they are pullers or Roos. Hopefully they are pullets.

I’m not sure. I got it out of a bin at a local feed store two weeks ago. I’m guessing close to 5 weeks old.

Good Evening! Not sure the age of this chick. I got it from Rural King. Can anyone tell yet if it’s a Roo or Pullet? I’m new to chickens. Thanks in advance!
