    So I have a 14 week old pullet. She’s a very docile girl. I brought her up totally hands on. Anyway this video is of her letting baby chicks use her as a mama! Has anyone seen this before? From a pullet? For some reason I can’t attach video.😏

    I live in Maine. My flock tolerates the cold pretty well. Although I had to bring a hen into the garage which is heated to heal from an injury. Now that she is all healed up can I put her back out with the flock even though she is used to being warm?

    How do you sex mixed chicks? Can you tell by there wing shape? If so what do they look like girls verses boys?

    So I hatched a bunch of eggs and the first batch were mixed breeds and the second I got from a hatchery and they are supposed to be full breeds. HOWEVER. The more I read about sexing my chicks the more I worry that I have all roosters lol. Help! First pick is my batch and 2nd from hatchery.

    Yea I got her from a guy that has silkies and Easter eggers. Her eggs are pale blue.
