Thanks for your help :) No, the only symptoms are the first (gaping). They've both stopped now and I haven't seen them do it for about an hour. Very strange behaviour, hoping it's not gapeworms.
I have two ISA Browns, roughly a year old, who have been previously healthy. Today I noticed both of them gaping consistently; is this a respiratory issue? As well as gaping, they keep shaking their heads, as if trying to get something off. Is this symptoms for a disease or am I overreacting...
Definitely wasn't anything that came in after, thanks for the advice.
Is this withdraw due to the treatment or just the worms (I'm assuming the treatment). Thanks for the other advice.
My two ISA Browns appear very healthy, however today I noticed in one of their poos there were live worms wriggling around. Does this mean they're infected with worms, and if so, how do I treat it?
Also being in close contact with the chickens, is there any risk of me getting infected too?
Thanks.
