    My broody buff orphington suddenly got off her eggs on day 18, and wouldn’t get back on them. We didn’t realize this until about three hours after they had no heat on them, they we’re immediately put in the incubator after we noticed. We candled them and they seemed to be okay, but is it fine...

    Only 3 because we weren’t exactly sure how many were still good. Only one hatched they are so lonely!!! We are incubating others at the time and we have older ducks we will introduce them to!

    there was three eggs and only one hatched. He’s so lonely!! We have other ducks we will eventually introduce him to, but for now we are going to try and hatch more.

    I went ahead and opened the egg because i knew it was dead. It was fully formed, so I have no idea why it died. So heartbroken 😭
