    I was checking my girls this and noticed one had a "mushy" crop according to the article I read on crops I believe she may have doughy crop and not slow/sour.     I only do the corn and scratch in winter heard it helps keep engery up when it's cold since the engery goes to making eggs and trying to stay warm.

    Question I buy dumor layer crumble for my 11 gold sex links they seem to be doing fine. I have one the stopped laying in august but she Feds and drinks just fine she was being pecked a bit more then the others. Now that winter set in I started giving whole corn and scratch with the crumble...

    So does the ACV help keep the algae down. I'm using a five gal plastic waterer and no matter how much I clean it I have lots of algae and I change the water every couple days for my 11 gals.

    Lubbock is the closest city to us. We started with 12 gold sex links in February down to 11 now. They started laying in mid June. We lost a hen last month not sure how we never found her. We also had to remove a hen (waffles)that was being picked on really bad(could figure out who the bully was)...
