    I keep looking for saddle feathers and hope they don't come in. I guess I will just hold on to this one as long as I can. I never knew I could get so attached.

    Oh man! I was wondering about those collars. Unfortunately I don't think that will work for us, we have neighbors pretty close to us and we are not allowed roosters in our town. Thanks for your input.

    Yay!!! I'm so excited I took the time to read all these post. I have a 9 week Rhode Island with a big red waddle and everyone is saying roo! I can't stand the thought of getting rid of her/him. So I'm so happy there is hope!!!

    This is my sons Rhode Island Red Rhodie. She is so sweet but I'm wondering with the size of her comb could she be a he. She is only 9 weeks old. Being a mother of 3 boys, I keep having a feeling all 5 of my pullets are gonna turn on me!!! Please let me know what you think.

    New to chickens

    Hi chicken people! I'm new to this whole chicken thing but am totally loving it! My girls (hopefully) have all moved out to the coop and life is much better for all of us. I'm excited to learn more and be part of this community.
