    Hi! I want to try fermenting feed for my chickens but read somewhere it's not for all feed types. Can you ferment Kalambach Henhouse reserve? How do you know when it's done fermenting?

    Aww thank you for asking! I watched her on the camera while I worked quite a bit today. She started off very still and not eating/drinking. Throughout the day she started improving a lot. I think she's going to be ok!

    Since she's not eating or drinking much and I stole her from the roost at night, I crushed it, dissolved it in 5ml water and slowly gave through a syringe. I did watch her for a bit to make sure she didn't aspirate. I think she enjoyed the snuggles.
