    I use top bars and find ants between my bars and lid all the time but they never seem to go in the hive. I have had them take the syrup.

    You can be as involved as you want to. You can move frames around, make splits, harvest honey, feed them, look for eggs.mostly Make sure the hive is healthy and has a laying queen. You can easily go 2 weeks between inspections. but you won't want to cause there so fun

    If you can get the comb its worth it. The brood is the most important but any comb will save the bees work in their new home

    I caught a swarm. After about a week it swarmed. she did lay a bunch of eggs first so they made some queens. At this point both hives are fine. So It happens

    You can build a swarm trap. Put some limon grass oil in it and they might move in. Then just leave them alone. Bees really don't need us, we just want their honey

    I made one with 2 egg cartons glued ontop of a pvc pipe. Some popsicle stocks Then some coat hanger wire to connect them. I drew a picture. Not the best Hopefully it makes sence

    gota say I'm not the biggest pittbull fan…. but i love mine. he's actually a great dog. huge heart and tons of energy. favorite activities include running, rock crawling, wading (not so much swimming), camping, andpulling me on my bike (even knows left and right). we found him at a flea market...

    if you have a half gallon mill jug. cut the top and bottom off with some arches on the bottom for food to come out then set it in a boll or something. cheap temporary feeder. i got my younger ones using one right now until i put them with the others. works ok.

    I've found the key is to make them stretch for it. then they can't wiggle there head and throw out the feed.

    I've been using it about 2 months and haven't cleaned it. i only have 7 birds in there right now though. i plan to clean it this weekend so ill find out then. ok i cleaned it had about an inch of powder built up. seems like a filler of some sort would take care of it.

    i tried to get a picture but they aren't very good. i made a funnel out of a piece of sheet aluminum but a cheap plastic funnel could be cut to fit real easy. the pvc rim is not import and it was already on the pipe so i just left it
