I got a chicken which look alike the cemani however it has fluffy feathers on the head which does not seen a charasteristic of the cemani. The small comb is black, feet and toe nails are black. Any distinguish charasteristic to determine if it is an ayam cemani?- jackyboy

Is there a way to distinguish between the various white quail species? English whites, how long do they take to mature? How long before the first egg? How early can you vent sex them? -

Is this common or has this happen to you? I bought 5 coturnix and they were clearly femaleswith speckled chest, a week later they started to molt and only 2 out of the five had the speckled and the other 3 showed a brown uniform color on the chest which look like males! None started to crow... -
