I got a chicken which look alike the cemani however it has fluffy feathers on the head which does not seen a charasteristic of the cemani. The small comb is black, feet and toe nails are black. Any distinguish charasteristic to determine if it is an ayam cemani?- jackyboy

Is this common or has this happen to you? I bought 5 coturnix and they were clearly femaleswith speckled chest, a week later they started to molt and only 2 out of the five had the speckled and the other 3 showed a brown uniform color on the chest which look like males! None started to crow... -
