    They started eating eggs, I was told if I trim their beaks this will stop. I do notice their claws are growing and starting to curl, so maybe they aren’t wearing down. I am going to add in some cement/brick/rocks for them.

    I have noticed that my hens are eating eggs and I was told they may need to have their beaks trimmed and it will stop. This is the first time I will be doing it. I am looking for some advice thank you.

    Pullets not using roost bars

    It took my pullets a few weeks to acclimate to the roosting bars. Even though they watched the older hens it still took some time.

    Help me sex my new chick. I have some broody hens that are hatching out chicks, the first one hatched. Pictures 1,2,3 are of the chick- pictures 4 and 5 rooster daddy and the rest of the flock.

    Considering converting to sand bedding in coop.

    I am considering switching from pine shavings to sand bedding in my coop 8’x8’. Any advice is appreciated. Pros/cons? What type of sand? How deep? How do I clean it? Thanks!
