I hope he is not. The known pullet seems to be more dominate than the questionable chick (one pictured above). They are from a hatchery and I have read that some hatchery birds tend to be more aggressive due to the fact that the males have to compete to breed. Hopefully if we are social with him...
The bad experience was from a RIR. I did do my research before choosing a breed and Barred rocks seemed to be a good fit for our family. We are also getting two Buff orphingtons and two black Austrolops Wednesday for our boys to raise for 4H.Thanks agian for your help.
Thank you for your thoughts. I guess I will know sooner or later. I have always been scared of roosters due to a bad experience. I am hoping that if "it" is indeed a rooster that handling him often will help me get used to him and him to me.
