Thank you for the reply. My wife spotted this issue and took a video but by the time I arrived hour later she died. Very healthy and sweet bird. We have to be more careful and may have to stop letting them free range. Which we do not want.
She is free ranged. Roam around our yard half of the day. Yard has tree branches, some small stones here and there. It’s really painful to see they die and you can’t do anything. We are new and learning. Hope soon we will be better chicken keeper.
This bird was raising her throat up and down around sunset time and after one hour it died. No sign of sickness before. Any idea what could be possible reason of death. It’s so shocking to see we can’t take care of the birds.
