    Sad news. As we were leaving the veterinarian, Limon had a heart attack. The vets, all 3 of them, tried to save her. We lost her. Fly free my beautiful baby girl

    We just finished at the vet. X-rays today. Limon has an oblique fracture of the right femur, near her hip. Casting is not possible. Vet said surgery would probably kill her. I'm looking for advice from anyone else who's had this happen. She WILL NOT be euthanized. Don't even suggest it...

    Maybe Limon is prone to having problems? she's 2.7 kilos now. Quite small. And she's had 2 bouts of respiratory infection. Maybe the meds make her bones not as strong? who knows. I'd love to see your flock sometime.
