I’m robbing someone else’s picture because I have both his legs bandaged up and used an antibiotic ointment called mupiricon.
No breakage on skin/scales. He was limping on one leg for a while so I isolated him and fed him full of good food, some vitamins, ACV, and added green/blue mold from...
Penicillin! I do this and ACV maybe once a month to make sure they stay healthy. Most are 2-3 years old and not ever had a health problem. Only thing that gets them is sometimes a stray dog will jump the fence :(
Thanks for mentioning that. I’ll have to separate onions but garlic is generally safe and good for them from what I read. But not so much in high dosage.
Sounds like more of a belly ache for them. I love my ducks, they are my pets. Good thing I mentioned that and you caught it.
Onions are...
I've got a waste bin in the kitchen. A lot of times it is full of garlic, onions peels & pieces, tomatoes, cabbage, peppers, etc...
They eat up the tomatoes and cabbage, and peppers every time.
I had planted some garlic and it disappeared. Last night I dumped the waste bin into their pen and...
It wasn’t my mailbox, no mailbox was ever smashed, my point was something like that might happen if you go about things the wrong way. But this is becoming a long thread, things go out of context quickly and I’m having to repeat myself. Beginning to go off the rails and become no longer relevant.
I was curious about a figure - not that I’d go that route. It’s a weird and sometimes hostile world, my view has always been to keep a low profile and try to work out problems before getting someone else involved. One might come home and see their mailbox smashed up or something like that. Then...
They are locked up. Both chickens and ducks at night. During the day I do let them out, they can’t wait for me to open up the gates each morning. I want them to be happy but not attacked, at least not while they are roaming on my private property
Yeah. Can you add love, emotional distress? It does add up. Be it $45 or $450, a renter in the house offered me what he could and apologized and said he’d talk to his roommate, the dog owner. I did appreciate that. Which also calmed me down.
I came home and the yard was quiet. Nothing...
David made a good point which I can’t deny. I thought about dogs, though breed does some into play, but who is to say they won’t wander off and kill someone else’s animals?
A talk with the neighbor doesn’t cost or change my setup. There’s also upkeep and the chance they go outside my property...
