I have 2 lavender orpington chicks that are about 5-6 weeks old. Their fathers have come in almost completely but they look different. They look split at the edges and their not as nice and shiny as my other pullets almost dingy looking. Why is that? I'd it something I'm doing wrong or is it...

I have 2, 7 week old novogen browns out of a pullet bin. They look so different. Does anyone know anything about this breed? All I know is they are a cross between RR and white leghorn...I think.
