Thank you so much for the reply! That sounds so relieving.. I just read too many horror stories of a drake drowning his duck and I got worried.. I don't have water available 24/7 but I try to have it available for a few hours a day

I have two 3 month old ducks
One is a mallard looking runner duck and even compared to other runner ducks she looks to be on the smaller side but I'm not completely sure about it and the other is a Abacot Ranger (streicherente) drake who is definitely much bigger and heavier than the runner...
