    Help sexing 9 week old chicks! (BCM, Cream Legbar, Jersey Giant, and Olive Egger) Cockerel or Pullet?

    Agree all pullets, although I am unfamiliar w/ OE. Legbar feathering definitely not typical of purebred, and our roo's comb was big and red by 3-4 weeks. Our Legbar hen puffs her neck feathers when irritated.

    8 week New Hampshire Red?

    These look identical to my (now 4 yo) Red Sex-link hen, who is a cross between a RI Red male and Delaware female. Giveaway is the black feathering in the tail. Other Production Reds/Golds, often crosses between RI Red with either RI White or Leghorn have white.

    9-10 weeks old chick sexing help! BLRW, black australorp, olive Egger

    From what I understand, BLRW males only have lacing on their breasts—so if there are laced feathers coming in on the wings, particularly the shoulders, then it's leaning pullet. Curious as to what's making people predict #3 is a cockerel? Mergruss1104, super if you could keep us posted as...
