problems with baby chicks. Hen hatched two yellow chicks and several days later a grey chick which she seems to have rejected. She was pecking at him. So we took the grey chick out and have been keeping her warm and she seems to be eating. We want to take the grey chick and put with other babys and take mom away. Is it ok. They are a week old. We hope the yellow ones will bond with the grey one. Is this a good idea? Is it ok to take mother hen away.
