Hi. I'm Janie. My husband & I, two dogs, & two cat live in a cabin beside a beautiful lakette (XL pond) in the East Texas Piney Woods.
We luckily have no close neighbors because we have an obnoxiously loud flock of chickens.
I am an avid reader, an animal lover, an occasional quilter, and I enjoy hiking around the pond and the perimeter of our property with our dogs daily.
We have frequent visits from our five grown children, our 12 grandchildren, and even a few granddogs.
