How to keep my chicks happy
I have one roo and 7 hens who have a nice size hen house and screened run, I use to let my chicks free range in my garden off the chicken house but we have our house on the market and I need to keep my garden looking sale ready. Outdoor chicken run
I lined my outdoor chicken coop last winter with straw bales and covered the wire on top with heavy plastic for the winter, it worked very well in giving the chickens some place to scratch. The straw has turned pretty moldy and I am going to take it out but the chickens love to jump on it...- janie's silkies
