Does anyone know how long it takes chicks to grow to full size? I know I could just search it up but I cannot be bothered..

I get around 2-10 every year. The number depends on certain things though like for example if our existing flock gets attacked by predators and we need to get more chooks etc.

Nice! I've been messaging my local show group a lot and getting to know a lot of stuff about how to show etc. I'm hoping to enter my first one next year!

Does or has anyone in this thread shown poultry before? I'm kind of trying to get into it but I have to wait for some of my chicks to grow to see if they are show quality and meet their breed standards. Fingers crossed some of them are :fl

Back again after a while! Chicks in photos 1, 2, and 3 ended up being pullets :) Chick in photo one looked like they were a rooster but they were just a fast grower.

I don't have any photos but I currently have a Buff Orp. She is the dumbest little thing and she loves to attack my shoes but I love her nonetheless :love
