The Rattle Bucket works great for chickens because it has a built-in rattle chamber on the bottom of the bucket. When you shake the bucket it creates a rattling sound that chickens quickly learn to recognize as feeding time.
Instead of trying to chase chickens around the yard or coop, you can simply shake the bucket and the sound attracts them. Chickens will often come running from the henhouse or across the yard when they hear the rattle.
You can pour feed out into the coop or feeding area and then stand back and shake the bucket, and the rattling sound helps bring the chickens over to the feed.
The rattle chamber screws onto the bottom of the bucket, and it can also hold feed if you want to add some inside to create the sound. It’s a simple way to call chickens, train them to come when called, and make feeding time easier.
