    Official BYC Poll: How Do You Keep Your Feed Costs Low?

    How do people keep wild birds from eating the chicken food? I am suspecting that those little birds are emptying the bowls on a regular basis. Any thoughts would be great. Putting the bowls inside the coop or putting mesh over the whole chicken area are not options for me.

    Yeah, it's actually both legs completely turned the wrong direction. I put her to the bowl of food but she's also barely eating or drinking.

    Hi. Just to follow up on this very late. It was a vitamin problem. We give the m at birds liquid vitamins in their water now and have not had any more problems. Just in case someone else has this issue, try vitamins.

    He's a fairly large Moran mix. Actually, he's the best rooster because he doesn't crow much at all :-) He was going to be the replacement for the egg flock rooster but maybe I could repurpose him.
