    I've got my first 5 chicks this spring. They're about 13 weeks old now. It appears as though one is definitely a roo. Now I'm paranoid about the rest (we're not supposed to have roos in our county). What do y'all think about my Speckled Sussex and Wyandotte here? Pullets hopefully?

    This Easter egger is about 12 weeks old. She's always been bigger than the rest and has the most aggressive personality. She's started making some vocalizations in the morning but I can't say it sounds like crowing. Is she a cockerel?

    Update: Tiny Tina just needed some time. She's looking much better and has been oustide with the rest of the girls for a few weeks.

    We got an Australorp, an Easter egger, Wyandotte, speckled Sussex, and red star. They are so fun and cute!
