It's true -- they will be ok for a few hours without the power. The blanket thing is perfect to help keep the incubator warm. I've had to do that before myself. Try not to open the incubator at all to keep all the heat/humidity in as much as possible too. :)

I know the show was Saturday -- but I used Sunday as ketchup day around the house, so wasn't online much.. I missed seeing a lot of people this time around :( and when I did see someone it was on the fly. boohoo. Maybe PNPA will be a little more relaxed for me. The serama stuff kept me waaay...
I just wanted to add -- to the kiddie pool idea-- in our breeding pens we use those plastic toboggan type of sleds, that have the shallow sides on them? --> at least for call ducks, it works perfect. Easy in and out for them, and easy for us to clean! :D But if you have the big ducks, those...
