What I have always used… a rubber made tote with pine shavings for bedding and a brooder lamp as heat source with a chicken feeder and chick waterer. Just basic and simple but the very same setup I have used for the hundred or more chicks I’ve raised before

Hi all! I am New to this forum but I have had chickens for Many many years! I currently have 19 hens… a mix of Bards, Izzy’s, Rhodes and Wyandottes. My favorite breeds are Izzy’s and Rhode Island Reds followed by Bards… my oldest Hen is 12 years old and is a Bard.
