    I had a broody hen. Gave her eight eggs to sit on. Only two of the eight hatched out alive. We had two babies to hatch out Still born, and one that was deformed and did not hatch out at all.the other two were duds . Anyone have any ideas why all this would’ve happened?     I recently acquired 5 hens from a man who no longer wanted them. That should have been a red flag , but I'm a sucker for a chicken in need . These hens are separate from my main flock on quarantine. I got two normal eggs then this one weird egg thing . Any thoughts on what it is ?

    Hen left her nest

    I have a have a chick that started to sit on a clutch of eggs. She sat on the clutch for two days then got up and left them for two days. She is now back sitting on them again. Will they hatch?

    My one year old hens eye has been part shut for the last 5 days . Other eye looks fine and the part closed one has no discharge. Have been giving her tylan with no results. I have agricillin that I am going to start . 1/4 cc , twice a day ? Anyone have an ideas ?

    Runny eyes in three mth old chicks

    I had a clutch of 14 chicks hatch . 4 have had runny eyes the whole time . I put meds in their eyes (neomycin and polymyxin b) but they never did improve . Should I put antibiotics in their water ? If so what kind ? Thanks
