That thought entered my mind too but this is on the back of their neck. Can the crop move around under the skin and shift that far?

Two of three Cemani chicks from hatch have large squishy bumps on the back of their necks. Otherwise healthy. They are 4 days old. What could this be? I would think and access or tumor but what is the likelihood that 2/3 would have the same thing? Never seen this before.

I just got a chick in the mail that has severe scissor beak and is missing an eye. It seems fine now, but from what I have read scissor beak only gets worse and it is already really bad to begin with. Is there any hope it will make it or should this be a mercy cull early on

I have a separate coop I designate for raising my biddies in once they are big enough that they hop out of the brooder box, but before they are big enough to go in with the big flock. Could I also raise quail in this coop? I assume if the chicks are small when they enter they won’t harm the...

So you can basically double them up but need to manually turn then...

How many quail eggs can you hatch in a NR360? There a spaces for 22 chicken eggs, but can you put in more quail since they are much smaller?

Circling back to this... is this a “showable” color variety? I can’t seem to find anything online or much on these forums about Lemon Pyle OEGB.

Thanks so much for the help! Are the OE bantams as apt to be cantankerous as regular OE? Right now they both seems very friendly? Do they look “grown” should we expect them to get bigger?

My daughter just bought this pair based purely on “cute” factor, but we don’t know what they are. What are they? Are they young and will change looks a lot more? How big will they get?
