    One of my Jersey Giant roosters streatching. I just had one hatch right now! I can hear him in the incubator. I have been waiting all day for him to come! I am having a few more that will be here soon!

    My hen who is currently broody was happy to take about 18 eggs. They didn't all fit under her, since she is rather small, so I took some out until they fit. I took some extra out too, so that I didn't have more poults than I wanted.

    They can sit on 6-20 eggs. Broad Breasted turkeys might crush the eggs, and probably won't go broody. My hens seem to have at least a 60% hatch rate.

    My hens seem to lay about 5-6 a week for about 8-10 weeks. About 45-60 eggs per hen.

    They look like Bourban Red turkeys to me. The tom looks like he is just missing some tail feathers, and the hen I just don't see any white on her.

    Mine usually roost in trees too. I would recommend trying to get them to roost somewhere else.
