    As far as they are concerned those quail are Mexican speckled. Haha. I am in the heart of Mennonite/Amish land and there are countless auctions where “breeds” and color phase are not always accurate.

    Thank you for the info! I have a back up project now, or one I can do in comparison to the group of pansy fee hens I have now. I have a small group of pastels I am going to try to maintain to keep the fee gene.

    In my old still air it would hover around 30% but that could be faulty readings due in part to the old hydrometer. The GQF has a fan, and that may have something to do with it, but without water the humidity was around 15%. Too dry
