- I don't know anything about chickens and roosters I recently rescued a rooster someone dumped in the woods no one want him so I"m going to keep him. I"m hoping to maybe pick up some good information and tips on how to keep this guy, I'm told he's 6 months or less, very friendly . I want to keep him friendly at some point I will be getting some hens until then I would like him to bond with us if that's possible
