    Egg production lately

    my egg production slowed 50% a month ago when I started using PP. No change in weather. I switched to Nutrena and we are back up to normal levels.

    I will check that out tomorrow night. I think she roosts on the ledge with the other chickens. She is not heavy or underweight.... I appreciate your feedback

    Chicken Tumor or ingrown feather being expelled?

    One of my chickens came up to me and followed me around tonight, when I bent down to touch her she crouched down and didn't run, felt this on her left breast area. It seems like it's coming out of her and being expelled. It is not hanging very tightly to her. Any thoughts?

    My daughter wants to take these to show as pullets at the county fair in july. We aren't sure what to call them? Any suggestions? They were labeled auracana/easter eggers at the feed store. Are they americaunas? The tails turn down. About 12 weeks old in picture.
