    Not sure if they will need heat yet - it'll be our first winter with them. It gets pretty cold here. Our neighbor has a large coop and does not have a heater.

    She had the spot on her back and bump on her leg when we got her. I was hoping it would go away but her back got worse. I think it's from the darn rooster. Now that we got rid of him, hopefully she can heal. Poor girl.

    Injured Hen possibly from over mating or skin disease
