I would like to thank everybody for their advice on what is the best thing for me to do. Although, I noticed their were seperate opinions on the, "to kill or not to kill" question. Unfortunately the chicken is now gone, and for the better. I will say no more, or what has been done.

I'm 19 years old and live in Australia, state VIC. At home, we own a nice group of fluffy head silkie chickens.
So since we own chooks and I love chooks, (I think only Aussies call them 'chooks' lol?) I thought 'backyardchickens.com' would be a great place to join...
