    Oxytetracycline dose (tbsp / tsp)

I found the powder form of enrofloxacin on Jedds and ordered it. I was able to take some new pictures of some fresh poop stuck to her feathers. I see some white areas and yellow.

    Oxytetracycline dose (tbsp / tsp)

I think it's where the white used to be but I'm not sure. I will take a picture when she poops again and post it. Is it ok if I get the Baytril from this site because they have it in powder? https://allbirdproducts.com/products/enrofloxacin-10-powder

I see a little yellow in the dark green poop, is it too late or do i have a few days to order the Baytril?

    Oxytetracycline dose (tbsp / tsp)

@casportpony My half jungle fowl and half orpington hen has started dropping poops that are dark green with yellow, and she has been lethargic and not as social with her flock. I think it may be egg peritonitis. I posted pictures below. The tetracycline HCL was bought from Ebay, I translated...

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

She's still the same. Nothing I did helped her yet. :(

That's really good she inhaled it for a long enough amount of time. Did you try again and has she improved? I'm going to make the mix today and mist her and some of the rest when they're in their coop, so they don't try to run.

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

Thank you very much for verifying that with me. I think I'm going to start with an 1/8th of the mixture everyday, because I don't think she has it very severe since she's had it for a long time. I will update you on how she does on the treatment, and please keep me updated on your beautiful hen...

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

I'm not sure I noticed a big difference between her breathing in the summer compared with the winter, it seemed to be always the same. Thanks for calling my hen beautiful. :love

Same here. I'm happy we can possibly be done with this problem that's been stressing us for a long time.

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

Is the stuff we bought unactivated oxine AH? Thank you very much. I was very worried about doing this correctly because English is my second language. This is a lot more clear. But do you know if we should use an 8th of the 2 1/2 teaspoon/cup water mix for each application on a bird, and for...

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

How long should I spray over her head each day (or how many spray pumps), and for how many days? Can I divide the amounts by 4, because the mist bottle I have only holds 10 oz? Thank you.

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

Thank you very much. I ordered the gallon and received it today. I will administer it to her tomorrow when I get a misting bottle from Wallgreens. She's also asleep now so starting tomorrow will be ok hopefully. Have you received it yet? If so how did it go?

@Miss Lydia Do you know how many parts oxine and water? Thank you. @HeatherKellyB Please let me know how it goes.

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

The vaporizer I have uses water. But I think what Miss Lydia does with the spray bottle put on mist will be the fastest and easiest way. Closing her in a room with a humidifier is ok too, but hopefully the spray bottle mist will work out well first. Thank you very much. I'm sorry, what's a "gal...

(Please help) My chicken is gasping and has foam coming out her mouth

I think I will do the same. I have the same problem with seeing a vet too. It would stress her out terribly to be separated from her flock and go on a long car ride to a strange vet's office. It also seems like it will cost too much to get the same information I can get from a site like this. I...
