    baby chick stuck to egg by umbilical cord

    I have a new chick that still had this little "umbilical cord" still attached. I left it alone for several hours but it was having trouble moving with the shell still attached. I gave it a little tug to try to pull it off but that didn't work. Since that didn't bother her, i clipped the string...
