    Thank you! Yes she has been able yo eat well and was laying eggs up to the day of the attack. Her comb is still surprisingly red and there are no signs of any other distress other than the scabs from the attack.

    Unfortunately, the vet offerred an x-ray to examine further but the cost was prohibitive. Do you have any suggestions to what may be causing the blockage then? I dont feel comfortable returning her to the flock when she cannot walk.
