Hello, I was thinking on building a raised brooder for baby chicks so I would not have to bend a lot, possibly 1-1/2 foot legs, the cage up to 2 foot tall. I plan to make it out of 2"x2" wood and use 1/2" hardware cloth on all sides and doors opening from the top. First thought was using 1/4"...
