    Janie: I'm just amazed I was able to talk him into it b/c he's had a phobia of birds since he was a child! He's come a long way bc now he's the one looking up coop plans and watching chicken stories on The Dodo ..His face when I told him I was getting a "Beware! TINY RAPTORS" sign for the run...

    Massive incoming grain and food shortages

    Wow...I'd not thought of that. We're just starting out w new chicks/brand new flock in early June. I have a lot of those things on my list to grow in the garden this year ..now I think I'll add a few more!

    Hello, all. I'm rejoining BYC because we're about to embark on our second new flock (well, second for me and first for him). I'm already back into "crazy chicken lady" mode and they haven't even got here yet 😆 I'm looking forward to more learning about all things chickens.
