Finding at least one dead chicken every morning. The head has been taken off and all the blood drained. Can't figure out how something is getting in the coop.
Any help on what to look for and/or how to stop it.

After doing some research online I wiped away any loose feathers and cleaned her up. There seems to be just one puncture wound which has stopped bleeding. I had bag balm and applied that to her skin where all her feathers had been plucked and the wound. Ive got her in a dog crate for the night...
Thanks for all the replies. I think we will be giving the barn a thorough cleaning and set up a trap near the nesting boxes. If he doesn't seem to bother the eggs or chickens then he will get a name like all the other animals that show up :o)
