Peridot FINALLY laid her first white egg! ๐๐ป๐
So I can now say this thread has come to an end. :)
Both chicks ended up being hens ๐
It's been fun! Thanks again everyone for adding your guesses and input! Till next time... ๐๐ป
Hey everyone!! I'm back for an update! ๐๐ป It's been a while...
So the verdict for Daisy the silkie is that she is a hen! Yay :) She has been laying small perfect eggs for a couple weeks now.
Now for my polish... I'm confident she is a hen as well since she has no comb showing and only has tiny...
I know this is years too late ๐ but just for any others wondering about the same thing.
I used Kleen Green to rid my house of a mite infestation and I now use it in my chicken coops since it kills mites on contact. So far I haven't noticed it harming the chickens at all even if the spray...

I'm back with some updated pics of my 9 week old Polish and Silkie :)
Are we still thinking pullet or have they started to show any roo characteristics?
Hello everyone!

They are 6 weeks today, I know probably a bit young for any definite answers, but I will take any guesses and opinions :)
The Polish is Peridot (Perry if male) and the Silkie is Daisy (Davy if male) and they...
