So good to know! My 7-month-old penedesenca hen has some small spurs so I was wondering! She also has a huge single comb, hasn’t started laying, and crowed several times the other day. If she hadn’t feathered out like a pullet, I’d have some questions! 😂
I love her feather color and the pink egg color! Where did you source your pink-egg-laying langshan from? Everywhere I see them - they are straight run and pink blooms are not a promise.
I'm curious if you tried these, and if so, what the eggs looked like? I found a breeder who will send pink langshan hatching eggs, but she said some of them will be from an orpington rooster. I worry that any chicks from the cross will not have the pink bloom trait present from their dam, or not...
