    Poll for those who have had chicken deaths

    I'm right in the city so our main predators are raccoons, possums, and hawks. Our only 2 predator deaths we were pretty sure was from a raccoon. I've also lost 1 to sour crop and 1 from an infection from a soft shell egg breaking inside her.

    Oh, that would be so hard. I had friends who lost their entire flock to a stray dog. Those larger predators can do so much damage.

    Are you seeing any signs of infection? She made need a dose of antibiotics. Also, I know they say not to use any oils on burns for humans, so a topical OTC burn cream be better. I think cvs or Walgreens have some that also have an analgesic for pain relief.
