This little one was found alone at a local park. We were not able to find the owners, so I took it in. Any idea what breed it may be? Gender? Age? It is super tiny, smaller than my 2 month old silkies. But the red in the face is throwing me off. Thanks for any help!

Thank you so much, that is really helpful! I do live in an incredibly dry climate. I am in west Texas, and our relative humidity is usually only around 10%. I will try those tricks to work on keeping it stable, thank you! So far no chirps or pips, but I'm very on edge this late in the game! 😩😩
